AT-L06A: Full Day: Sabah Agriculture Park & Murut Cultural Centre
Duration: Full Day
Tenom is a small town in the interior of Sabah and the indigenous community living here is called Murut (means "Men of the Hills"). The main attractions in Tenom are Murut Cultural Centre which displays the legacy of unique Murut Culture and the world-famous Sabah Agriculture Park which is a 1,500-acre of educational agro-tourism park.
ITINERARY: (Note: Meals are own arrangement – unless stated)
Depart from your hotel at 0700 and drive for 3 hours to Tenom, passing through scenic villages and highland. 0700 hours. Upon arrival; register and take a leisure walk through the Park to explore the wonders of tropical plants – various botanical gardens of orchids, tropical fruits, herbal trees and many more. After lunch at a local restaurant, make a stop at Murut Cultural Centre before making a return journey to Kota Kinabalu (ETA 1800). END OF SERVICE. |
AT-L08A: 4 Hours: Orchid D’Villa
Duration: 4 Hours
Established in 1995 and located in Inanam about 20 kilometres or 30 minutes away from KK City, the centre covers an area of 12 acres and boasts of about 50 hybrid species showcased in their Hybrid Garden. There are also 300 species of Borneo wild orchids, including some rare ones. Its main attractions are commercial orchid planting and conservation of wild orchids.

Depart from the hotel, journey takes about 1/2 hours drive through industrial area and scenic countryside. Upon reaching Orchid De Villa Farm the guide will explain the number of species can be found in the farm. This is your opportunity to see various types of commercial and hybrid orchid. You may see other plants such as cactus and pitcher plants. Purchase of fresh cut orchids gives you a great souvenir to take home. After tour end transfer back to your hotel. END OF SERVICE. |
AT-L09A: Full Day: Rafflesia Research Centre & Mahua Waterfall

Witness one of the largest flowers in the world "The Rafflesia" at the Rafflesia Research Centre. The centre was setup to protect and do further research for the benefit of our future generation.
Note: Rafflesia Research Centre is NOT available on Sunday & Public Holidays.
ITINERARY: (Note: Meals are own arrangement – unless stated)
At 0830 hrs, pick up from your hotel in Kota Kinabalu and drive into the Crocker Range. The journey to Rafflesia Information Center takes about 1½ hrs. Along the way, enjoy interesting scenery of Sabah’s interior. Upon arrival at the centre, proceed for a walk along the forest trail in search for Rafflesia, the biggest and very rare flower in the world. Then proceed to Mahua Waterfall (55 feet high). Have lunch at the restaurant at Mahua Park before or after visiting the waterfall. Then a transfer to return to Kota Kinabalu. END OF SERVICE. |
AT-L10A: Full Day: Kinabalu Park

Kinabalu Park is Borneo’s botanical paradise. Home to the majestic Mount Kinabalu (4095.2 m), the highest peak in South East Asia between the Himalaya and New Guinea. Renowned for its 200 species of orchids, rhododendrons, Nepenthes (pitcher plants), 80 species of fig tress, oaks and chestnut trees, 100 species of mammals and more then 300 species of birds. The Park has continually attracted top naturalists and botanists from around the world and been proclaimed an area with the richest diversity of flora and fauna.

Pick up from your hotel lobby at 0730 and make a scenic drive for 2 hours to Kinabalu Park HQ at an elevation of 1,563m. A brief stop along the way for a photo shot of Mt Kinabalu (weather permit) and at Pekan Nabalu for local handicraft and tropical fruits. At Kinabalu Park HQ, join the guided trail walks and point out the various wonders and visit the Mt. Kinabalu Botanical Garden – showcase of the diverse plant life on the mountain, as flora from all over the Park has been replanted. Lunch at a local restaurant before trekking at Silau-Silau trail and return to Kota Kinabalu. END OF SERVICE. |
AT-L10B: Full Day: Kinabalu Park & Poring Hot Spring

Kinabalu Park covers a staggering area of 754 sq km, from the Park HQ area all the way to Poring Hot Spring (40km) away. It is bigger then Singapore island. Poring is in the lowlands, a complete contrast of the Park HQ. Trek through the rainforest and witness life in the treetop as you walk along the 100ft Canopy Walkway. Soak away the sores and aches of the muscles in the hot sulphuric minerals of the spring, claimed to have curative powers and very popular with the locals.

Pick up from your hotel lobby at 0730 and make a scenic drive for 3 hours to Poring Hot Spring. The journey will take you to pass by some traditional and scenic villages and paddy fields along the mountainous road, winding along the Crocker range. A brief stop along the way for photo shots of Mt Kinabalu (weather permitted) and at Pekan Nabalu, a collection of native stalls selling fruits, vegetables, local produce and handicrafts - an opportunity to observe the local stall activities.
At Poring, it is a must to visit the Canopy Walkway (41m) above the ground OR you can jungle trek for 45 minutes to reach Kopungit Waterfall. Then soak yourself in an open-air tub fed by hot sulphurous underground springs - believed to have therapeutic benefits for skin care and aching muscles.
After lunch at a local restaurant proceed to Luanti to experience a unique ‘fish massage’ before proceeding to Kinabalu Park where you can enjoy the cool and refreshing mountain air, if the day is clear you will have a majestic view of Mount Kinabalu, the highest mountain in South East Asia. Proceed for a guided walk to the Mountain Garden. While walking, listen to the sounds of the jungle and observe interesting endemic plants, trees, orchids and butterflies. Then transfer back to Kota Kinabalu. END OF SERVICE. |
